The Sacred Humanist’s Editor-in-Chief, Carson T. Clark, also serves as the Chaplain of a spiritual retreat center. This quiet facility offers the hospitality of four guest bedrooms as well as a full kitchen, introductory library, exercise room, billiard room, and chapel. Whether a person is exhausted and needs a place to rest, has a ton of questions and needs a place to study, or is going through a short-term crisis and needs a temporary place to regroup,1 this welcoming facility offers an affordable place for retreat. Pastoral care is also available, if needed. If you plan to be in the north Houston area, please get in touch with us using the Contact form.
However, this facility has neither the expertise nor resources to assist people suffering from chemical addictions, domestic abuse situations, severe mental health challenges, long-term homelessness, or the like.↩
